Rep. Morgan Griffith Visits Twin County Regional Healthcare to Discuss Rural Healthcare Needs

Twin County Regional Healthcare (TCRH) was honored to welcome U.S. Representative Morgan Griffith (R-VA) on Monday, May 10.

During his visit, Rep. Griffith met with hospital leadership, board members, local city council representatives, and Galax Mayor Beth White. The group received an update on hospital operations and participated in a roundtable discussion focused on federal policy issues impacting rural healthcare and patient access to services.

The conversation highlighted key challenges and opportunities for rural healthcare providers, including workforce needs, access to care, and the effects of federal regulations on hospitals serving communities like those in Southwest Virginia.
