iOur inpatient behavioral health unit offers treatment for illnesses such as major depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, schizophrenia, and other emotional states or mental illnesses that render a person unable to function at the highest level.
Behavioral Health Services offers a full spectrum of mental health care designed to meet every level of need. Services include inpatient care and outpatient counseling services. Our staff of highly trained professionals, supported by the complete medical services of Twin County Regional Hospital, provides comprehensive care for the patient.
Inpatient Services offers a complete 24 hour/7 day a week program for treatment of mental health issues in a therapeutic setting. The unit accepts patients suffering from acute, treatable, psychiatric conditions such as depression, bipolar illness, chronic schizophrenia, who are in need of stabilization.
Patients are accepted for diagnosis, observation, treatment and support. Our 12-bed unit, staffed with physicians, social workers and nurses, provides personal care and attention. Admissions are accepted to our inpatient program at any time. Persons in need of medical detoxification should not be accepted for admission until the detoxification process is completed.
