Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Twin County Regional Healthcare provides high-quality, outpatient mental health treatment designed to help adults ages 18+ achieve balance and recovery.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) features evidence-based care appropriate for those who have recently completed a higher level of care or who need more therapeutic benefit than traditional individual therapy or medication management alone. IOP may be recommended by a physician after evaluation of the patient’s comprehensive mental health assessment of presenting problems, treatment goals and recovery needs.

What We Treat

Our high-quality outpatient programs are delivered under the guidance of experienced, licensed medical and clinical professionals and treat a wide range of behavioral health concerns, including:  

• Depression
• Anxiety
• Mood disorders
• Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
• Substance use associated with mental health issues

• Group psychotherapies with a master’s level clinician
• Tools to support ongoing symptom management and overall well-being
• Medication management, if needed
• Crisis prevention planning
• Activity therapy
