McKinley, MD of Blue Ridge Physicians for Women will be the featured speaker at the Carroll Wellness Center, located at 164 Carter Pines Lane in Hillsville, on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm. TCRH Welcomed New Year's Baby -
Twin County Regional Hospital (TCRH) welcomed the first baby of 2010. Andy Lee Johnson, son of Matthew and Brittany Johnson of Galax was the baby born closest to New Year's Day on January 2, 2010 at 4:18 pm.
TCRH Wellness Center to Offer a -
"Zumba" classes are planned at The Wellness Center of Twin County Regional Healthcare (TCRH), located in the Galax Shopping Plaza, on Monday, January 25, 2010 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. "Zumba" is a dance-style fitness class to be lead by instructor Lisa Funk. Classes are scheduled on Mondays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
The Twin County Regional Healthcare Cardiac Support Group meeting will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Twin County Regional Hospital in The Cardiac Rehab Department, ground floor. The topic will be "Keeping Our New Year's Resolutions: In Heart Healthy Style" with Karen Burress, RN, CES as the speaker. The group is open to anyone desiring support and information regarding a healthy heart lifestyle. Free of charge. Bariatric Support Group
The Bariatric Support Group meeting will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 6p.m. at Twin County Regional Hospital in the Twin County Room on the ground floor.
