As winter weather brought snow, ice, dangerously low temperatures, and high winds to the region, Twin County Regional Healthcare remained fully operational and prepared — thanks to the extraordinary dedication of its staff.

Throughout the weekend, hospital employees demonstrated unwavering commitment to patient care by staying onsite, working extended hours, and remaining ready for every circumstance. Nurses, providers, and non-medical support staff made personal sacrifices, choosing to stay at the hospital rather than return home, ensuring continuous and safe care for the community.

“Our team truly exemplified what it means to serve,” said CEO William Alley, MHA, BSN, RN. “They showed resilience, compassion, and teamwork under challenging conditions, always placing the needs of our patients first.”

From clinical care to essential support services, every department worked together seamlessly to maintain stability and preparedness despite the severe weather. Their efforts ensured that Twin County Regional Healthcare remained a trusted and reliable source of care throughout the storm.

Twin County Regional Healthcare extends its deepest gratitude to all staff members who went above and beyond, proving once again that the strength of the hospital lies in the dedication and heart of its people.
