TCRH Women’s Health Expo 2025

Twin County Regional Healthcare hosted The Women’s Health Expo of 2025 that was held at WCC Crossroads Institute, bringing together women from Carroll, Grayson, and the City of Galax for an evening of learning, fellowship, and celebration.
The event opened with welcoming remarks from Twin County Regional Healthcare’s CEO, William Alley, MHA, BSN, RN, who greeted the attendees with kind words of empowerment and encouragement that motivated women to embrace their strength, pursue their health goals with confidence no matter their journey.
Dozens of vendors filled the venue, representing local businesses, healthcare providers, and wellness organizations. From healthy living resources, crafts, information from physicians and specialists, participants had the chance to connect, ask questions, and discover tools to support healthier lifestyles.
Educational sessions were a highlight of the evening, offering attendees valuable insights into women’s health and wellness. Dr. Carlos Blattner of Blue Ridge Physicians for Women led an engaging talk focused on key aspects of women’s health. Additional presentations were given by Arielle Wilder, MSN, RN, CMSRN, from Twin County Regional Hospital’s Women’s Center with Samantha Surratt, Lactation Consultant ; Erin Newell, BS, RDMS, Director of Imaging at Twin County Regional Healthcare; and Tara Ardito, PA, from TCHR Galax Family Care Center. These experts shared practical tips on staying active, maintaining a balanced diet, and incorporating mindfulness into everyday life.
The final session featured a dynamic panel of healthcare professionals, including Tracie Vaughan, NP, from Twin County Urology; Katrina Parks, NP, of Blue Ridge Physicians for Women; Brittany Gift, DPT, from Twin County Regional Outpatient Therapy Services; and Tami Johnson, LPTA, also with Twin County Regional Outpatient Therapy. The panel addressed questions from the audience and provided thoughtful guidance on women’s health across all stages of life—from adolescence to maturity.
