Twin County Regional Hospital is proud to introduce Samantha Surratt, IBCLC, as part of our Women’s Center team. Samantha brings over 30 years of nursing experience and serves as both a registered nurse and a certified lactation consultant.

“I love my role as a lactation consultant,” says Samantha. “Providing education and advocating for patients brings me joy. It’s not just about practical support—it’s about helping families feel heard, seen, and respected in their choices. It’s a privilege to be trusted during such a vulnerable time and to witness the resilience and love parents bring, even when things get hard.”

Lactation services are available to anyone who needs help with breastfeeding—before delivery or anytime after. You do not need to be a patient of Blue Ridge Physicians for Women or deliver at Twin County Regional Hospital to schedule an appointment.
