About Nicole Fazekas-Woolwine, DO
Dr. Nicole Fazekas-Woolwine, D.O. is a pediatric physician with a strong foundation in rural and Native American healthcare, currently completing her residency at the OSU/OMECO Pediatrics Residency Program in the tribal/rural tract. Her medical training is distinguished by a commitment to underserved populations, particularly through advocacy work such as providing car seat safety education and resources to Native American families.
A graduate of Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and Virginia Tech’s College of Engineering, Dr. Fazekas-Woolwine combines her background in biomedical engineering and clinical research to approach pediatric care with a focus on innovation, safety, and cultural sensitivity. Her experiences range from vaccine and infectious disease research at USAMRIID to disaster preparedness and opioid response training.
She holds active medical licensure in Oklahoma and maintains certifications in pediatric and neonatal life support. Dr. Fazekas-Woolwine is dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based pediatric care with a preventative and community-focused approach.
