Twin County Urgent Care Opens

Twin County Regional Healthcare (TCRH) is pleased to announce Twin County Urgent Care opened on February 1, 2016.
Twin County Urgent Care welcomed three providers who have transitioned from other Twin County Physician Practices including Kenneth M. McIntyre, MD; Joy K. Creed, FNP-C and Amy Puckett-Lawson, FNP-BC.
Dr. McIntyre received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital. He completed his fellowship training in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at the US Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine in Brooks, Texas. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and offers more than 27 years of experience. Since 2013, Dr. McIntyre has practiced at Twin County Family Care Center of Hillsville.
Joy Creed obtained her Master of Science in the Family Nurse Practitioner tract from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. She is Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and has been a member of the Twin County Regional Healthcare Medical Staff since September 2003. Since 2011, Joy has practiced at Twin County Family Care Center of Hillsville.
Amy Puckett-Lawson obtained her Master of Science degree in Nursing from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She is Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Since 2010, Amy has practiced at Twin County Regional Healthcare.

Twin County Urgent Care is available to assist with minor cuts, burns and wounds; minor eye injuries, infections or irritations; severe cold and flu symptoms; sprains; muscle aches and pains; persistent fever; allergies; severe earaches; upset stomach and other non-life-threatening but urgent needs. Twin County Urgent Care providers will have access to your Electronic Health Record if you are a patient of at least one of the Twin County Physician Practices.
