TCRH to Offer Strollin’ Colon Exhibit and Colon Cancer Prevention Presentation December 6, 2016

Twin County Regional Healthcare will offer a Strollin’ Colon Exhibit that is free and open to the community anytime from Tuesday, December 6th at Noon to Thursday, December 8th at Noon at The Crossroads Institute Atrium located at 1117 East Stuart Drive in Galax. This self-directed walk-through exhibit is designed to be a visual representation to inform the community about colon cancer and preventive measures.
Additionally, Anne B. Grayson, MD, FACS of Twin County Surgery of Twin County Regional Healthcare will present on Colon Cancer Prevention on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 6:00pm at The Crossroads Institute Classroom located at 1117 East Stuart Drive in Galax. This presentation is free and open to the community. Registration is not required.
Dr. Grayson received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. She completed her internship and residency in general surgery and was the chief resident at Howard University Hospital. She completed her fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Saint Vincent Health Center in Erie, Pennsylvania. She is board certified by the American Board of General Surgery and brings over 24 years of experience.
