When quality of life is as important as the length of life
276.236.0973
Twin County Hospice provides a very special application of healthcare services at home for terminally ill patients and their families. Every situation is different, but the quality of our care is constant.
Our hospice services:
Affirms life and does not attempt to hasten nor postpone the natural process of death
Coordinates home-based healthcare for the terminally ill patient
Provides support and professional guidance to enable the family to care for the patient at home and to deal with the loss of the patient after death
Enhances the quality of life for the patient by managing symptoms, controlling pain and helping create the most comfortable environment possible
What family members say about care from Twin County Hospice:
"I would not have been able to finish my task of taking care of Jim at home without the love, concern, and wonderful help of the hospice staff. I did not realize how much help was available from Twin County Hospice."
– Gertrude Hubbard, Galax
"Twin County Hospice performs a valuable service . . . They provided emotional support and helped us to cope. Hospice care greatly enhanced mother's quality of life. I will always be grateful for the care and support they provided." –
Tiny Hedrick and Rita Hedrick
"Because we had help from Twin County Hospice, we were able to help my sister stay in her home, where she wanted to be. We are so grateful that she could stay at home and be as comfortable as possible." –
