Wake Forest is a university dedicated
to the pursuit of excellence in the liberal arts and in graduate and professional education.
Located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Wake Forest was founded in 1834. Its components are the
Undergraduate College and the Wayne Calloway School of Business & Accountancy, the School of Law,
Wake Forest School of Medicine, the Babcock Graduate School of Management, the Graduate School
of Arts and Sciences, and the Divinity School. Wake Forest University is the second smallest school
in the country to field teams in Division 1-A athletics. Demon Deacon teams compete in the
exciting Atlantic Coast Conference.

SCC is located in Dobson, North Carolina, the college serves Surry and Yadkin
counties, with enrolment also from adjacent counties in North Carolina and neighboring Virginia.
SCC offers more than 33 degree, diploma, and certificate programs to meet needs of local citizens.
The college offers the only two-year degree level viticulture and enology technology
program (supporting the expanding grape-growing and wine-making industry)
in the southeastern United States.

UNC Charlotte is the fourth largest of the 16 institutions within the University of North Carolina system.
It serves the people of North Carolina, with special emphasis on Charlotte, the nation’s 35th largest city, and the surrounding 13-county metropolitan region,
which includes 1.5 million people. The University’s 1,000-acre campus holds 51 buildings, including the J. Murrey Atkins Library, which contains more than 875,000
bound volumes, state-of-the art computer labs, and various special collections. Intramural sports are one of the major attractions for students. Sports range from flag football
and basketball to bowling, ping pong and water polo. The schools athletic department is known as the Charlotte 49ers.
