TCRH to Host Diabetes Day
The Diabetes Education Program of Twin County Regional Healthcare (TCRH) will host a Diabetes Day Open House on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 12:00pm to 7:00pm. The event will be held at The Wellness Center located in the Galax Shopping Plaza at 544-P East Stuart Drive. This is a free event and is open to the community. Certified Diabetes Educators will offer information and be available to answer questions. Door prizes and free one week trial passes for The Wellness Center will be available. Attendees who wear the color blue to unite for diabetes awareness are eligible to participate in a free aerobics class. TCRH Adds New Tests to Lab Direct Menu
Twin County Regional Hospital (TCRH) recently added new tests to the Lab Direct menu. The new lab tests that individuals can order for themselves or for their children include: Strep, Flu, Mono, Measles/Mumps/Rubella, Celiac Disease, Lyme Disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Hepatitis C, Lipase, Vitamin B12, Iron and TBIC as well as a variety of Thyroid tests.
